Flora and Fauna

The light on this day was breathtaking. Wren and I stumbled upon a wedding in the park happening right then. How perfect.

This little creek runs under our “Troll Bridge”.

Ghost Plant, a perfect October flower.

double rainbow
It started to rain last week as the kids were playing outside with friends. I thought to myself, this seems like perfect rainbow weather. I grabbed the camera, and opened my door to find a double rainbow.

All summer long, I absentmindedly wondered why my geranium wouldn’t bloom. I finally remembered that it was a Mum.

As we scurried across to the other side of the park, I managed to spot this tiny butterfly wing in the dirt. So beautiful.

Love that ghost plant – I’ll have to read about that one. The lighting in that top photo is beautiful and soft – such a good place for imagining.
